Each of my designs starts as a flat piece of bar stock. The design is drawn and laid out on graph paper and then roughly transferred to the steel billett .Then the general shape is cut out and ground down little by little to my desired shape.Tang holes are then drilled to be fitted with scales and the bevel is ground for a nice edge..Before handles the blade is then heat treated in a specially desighned Kiln to each steels specifications.The handle material is then carefully chosen to complament each blades uniquness as no two of my designs are alike.
